Do you have an overview of who is on your projects?
– We use the new robust construction card reader for SmartDok. It is very easy to use, easy to assemble and, not least, flexible with the possibility of using a mobile phone to register crew lists. Recommended!

You keep crew lists with:
• Building card reader
• SmartDok App
• UE-APP (subcontractor)
Download SmartDok Building Card Readerr-poster (Norwegian, English and Polish). Note: the app can be used on multiple projects even with only one card reader.

On some construction sites, it can be difficult to register electronic crew lists via one or more construction card readers. If you are a customer of SmartDok, you can also use your mobile phone to log out or enter the construction site.
All in one App
As a SmartDok user, you will thus have all your functions gathered in one App. You will then find the building card reader icon in the SmartDok App and register yourself in and out of the project. This makes SmartDok’s solution flexible and not least easy to use.
UE App for subcontractors
If your company is a subcontractor in a project or if you are a guest, SmartDok now has its own UE App so that you can register on the construction site via this App.
Geofence gives you as the project manager the opportunity to define a digital fence around a project area so that registration with the SmartDok app or the SmartDok UE app is only possible if you are within the area.
By using the geofence in SmartDok, you will ensure to a greater extent that the information in your crew lists is correct, as it will no longer be possible to register for the project unless you are physically present.
If you currently use SmartDok’s electronic crew lists via app or building card reader, you already have a good opportunity for effective infection tracking should it become necessary.
Here you can retrieve lists of people who have been present in the area as the infected person. You choose the period you want to focus on yourself, and can thus easily obtain an overview of people who need to be contacted.
Infection tracing and testing are central to the Norwegian covid-19 strategy. Everyone with symptoms of covid-19 should be tested, and people who are diagnosed with covid-19 should be isolated. Close contacts who have been exposed to infection must be identified, informed and followed up for 10 days after the last exposure. This is currently on FHI’s website.
Whether it’s 25 degrees Celsius or pouring rain means nothing to our building card reader. The reader is manufactured with harsh conditions in mind. “Swipe” your HMS card in front of the reader and you are quickly and easily registered for the correct project. When you have finished for the day, you “swipe” the card again and you register out of the building site. You can mount the reader on the wall. It does not need access to a wireless network to work. Inside the reader is a SIM card that communicates via the mobile network.
The building card reader for SmartDok can be moved from project to project. It is easy to change which project the box should register crew lists on. Even with just one building card reader, the solution in combination with a mobile app can be used for several projects.
All workers on a construction site are required by the Norwegian Labor Inspectorate to be equipped with a building permit (HSE card). Section 15 of the Building Owners Regulations states that you must be able to account for who is on the construction site at all times. All workers or visitors must carry an HSE card, which is the construction industry’s mandatory ID card.
When a worker registers via SmartDok’s construction card reader or mobile phone, the information is sent via web to your SmartDok system where you can via mobile or PC get full access to see who is or has been on the construction site. The system is also compatible with HSEQ.
Read the regulations for crew lists.
We want to make users of Geofence aware of a number of limitations in the technology that can lead to inaccuracy.
- GPS technology itself is not 100% accurate
- The battery saving function in the mobile phone can disable GPS or lead to less GPS use. Check how to change this in your Android phone and your iPhone
GPS jammer in the area - No coverage (tunnel, inside building or similar)
